About Mierendorff Primary School
At the Mierendorff School, we operate the so-called “FlexGanztag” – a form of tied all-day schooling with two flexible end times: 2:30 pm or 4:00 pm. In the core time between 8:00 and 14:30, lessons alternate with times of relaxation. In the time between 2:30 and 4:00 p.m., pupils can take part in special educational activities (AGs), complete school tasks or organize their free time independently. Thanks to an increase in funding, these offers are being continuously improved and expanded. For example, we are currently offering clubs in the areas of IT, robotics, chess, music, artistic design, mathematics, sport and science. With a great deal of creativity, our dedicated team of teachers and educators ensures interesting and lively lessons and a strong community. Numerous projects and events at our lively neighborhood school, such as school festivals, sports events and art projects, also contribute to this.
