The Mierie opened its doors and presented the diverse results of the leisure modules from the past school semester. Parents, teachers, educators and external partners led various modules, the results of which were presented in the sports hall on Thursday, January 22.
Ten working groups presented their work there, including the school band, judo, gymnastics in the children-for-children format and the creative module. The results were presented live in front of an audience. Other working groups were presented and visualized via picture collages on the projector.
The school choir and the school’s musical program were also part of the Mierie show. With short performances, the children showed what they had been working on during the semester and gave an impression of the musical diversity in everyday school life as well as the numerous singing and dancing talents at our school.
Another part of the program was created from the perspective of the children themselves. Pupils walked through the school building, photographed special learning locations and recorded their impressions. These photos were shown during the event and provided an overview of the various AGs.
In addition, two children from the fourth grade supported the moderation of the afternoon together with Ms. Weiß as Mierie moderators. They led through the program, announced contributions and ensured a child-friendly, appreciative setting.
The afternoon provided space to meet, exchange ideas and recognize the work done during the half-year. The Mierie show made it clear how diverse learning is at the school and how committed the children, teaching staff and external partners are to working together. A big thank you to everyone involved who put their heart and soul into making the diverse leisure activities possible and organizing them.
