Just in time for the Advent season, the annual Christmas tree and the Advent wreath with the Fröbel stars were put up in our entrance area on Thursday, November 27.
Numerous children, parents, teachers and staff lent a hand and worked together to ensure that the tree shone particularly festively this year. Not only were colorful baubles, stars and self-made pendants attached during the decorating process – there was also a lot of laughter and the first pre-Christmas atmosphere was enjoyed.
A special highlight was the ceremonial attachment of the poinsettia to the top of the tree. This year, Mr. Rupp, the chairman of the GEV, took on this task and attached the final decoration to great applause from those present.
We would like to thank all the helpers for their commitment and look forward to an atmospheric Advent season at our school!
